Buying A Home with Peter

Buying a home can be an overwhelming process that requires making complex decisions. I am here to help take away the stress and worry. The following is a brief summary of the processes involved in purchasing a home.

Purchasing Profile

After deciding to purchase a home, we will arrange a meeting to establish your purchasing profile. We will work together to define your specific needs and wants, including; location, price range, size, and style. I will use my knowledge along with your criteria to narrow the search down to only the most desirable properties.

Home Viewings & Tours

After establishing your profile, the next step is to look at prospective properties that match your search. We can arrange tours, private showings and visit open houses.

Making an Offer

Once we have found you your perfect home, it’s time to make an offer. I will help you establish a fair market value, the terms, conditions and dates that will give you the best chance of having your offer accepted. My experience and training will ensure that your offer is legally binding, enforceable and written properly.

Changing Possesion

Once it is confirmed that the money has been released to the seller, and the title has been transferred, you may now move in to your new home.

The Legal Process

In this stage the seller’s and the buyer’s lawyers will coordinate the transfer of the Title of the property and the remaining funds on the date of completion. If you do not have a lawyer I am more than happy to recommend one of the several professional I work with.
